In our daily lives it is easy to not realize how much we are missing human touch. Whether it is something you really enjoy, or something you are okay with receiving only once in a while, human touch is necessary for everyone. This experience I am offering melds pure human touch, massage, Spiritual Healing (optional), and the presence of the Gods through it all.
By invoking the Gods into our space before beginning, they can bring added peace and healing. I specifically work with Dionysus, who is a wonderful deity when it comes to ailments of the mind, and Aphrodite, who brings great peace and rest to the body. Other deities are invited to join the space, should they have good intentions, and if you are someone who also works with deities then we can invite them to join as well.
Then, we add the benefits of herbs and essential oils. I have a blend that I've made myself for pain relief, made from sweet almond oil (very nourishing), calendula flowers (anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, also great for skin problems), comfrey leaf (great for muscle pain, anti-inflammatory), and both lavender and peppermint essential oils (both anti-inflammatory and pain relieving). But for my friends who may be allergic or need something less scented, we can also use just pure jojoba oil, or jojoba oil with only a couple drops of essential oil so it's very diluted.
The massage is full-body, but avoids areas that may be sensitive or too painful for you, as discussed beforehand. Additionally, before and throughout there are pauses just to feel. Just to have human touch, human connection, and to bask in the presence of each other and of the Gods.
Finally, an optional addition is Spiritual Healing, also known as Psychic Healing, or Psychic Surgery. In this step your aura is gently pulled aside to let me take a look at your body on a more soul- and chakra-level. By feeling the energy bouncing between chakras I can feel for any blockages and I can pull it out, getting rid of it and clearing up that area. This can be a very odd-feeling process, and sometimes a draining process if you're very blocked, which is why I offer it as an optional addition.
